Undergraduate Applicants

UNDERGRADUATE APPLICATION PROCESS

The application process is handled online and the packet consists of:

  1. A complete online application form (submitted no later than February 1, 2018)
  2. Two letters of recommendation. Arrange for two professors to complete and submit their recommendations letters online.This form also asks the references to upload a recommendation letter (signed and in official letterhead submitted no later than February 15, 2018)
  3. Proof of health insurance coverage through at least August 4, 2018 (uploadable as a pdf in the application form)
  4. An Unofficial transcript

As part of your application, students are asked to:

  1. Select up to three mentors in the ranking order you would like to work with over the summer. Please note first choice is not guaranteed.
  2. Write a statement/essay that demonstrates a mature interest in science and describes your motivation to participate in this program and the impact that participation in research experience may have in your education/ future career plans.

High School Teacher

HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER APPLICATION PROCESS

The application process is handled online and the packet consists of:

  • A) Complete online application form (submitted by no later than February 1, 2018)
  • B) Two recommendation forms. One from his/her school principal and one from his/her Department Chair (signed and printed on official letterhead uploaded as PDF by the recommender no later than February 15, 2018)
  • C) Proof of health insurance coverage through at least August 4, 2018  (uploadable as a pdf in the application form)
  • D) Teacher Resume (upload as PDF in the application form)
